During the meeting, held on January 16, trends of further cooperation between the Committee and the State Archive Service regarding legislative settling of urgent issues of archive-keeping were discussed. Particularly, the issue related to the necessity of adopting State target program on modern means of preservation of National Archive Fund documents for 2013-2017 by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allowing to preserve unique archive documents.
The Chair of the Committee Viacheslav Kyrylenko noted that people’s deputies, members of the Committee, have a set of questions regarding the work of the State Archive Service of Ukraine and invited the Head of the Service O.Hinsburh to participate in the meeting of the Committee on February 20, 2013.
